In a conflict against identity, Juliet wears Jack to survive the day. A trans-centric narrative that resonates with the universal struggle of identity, and the conflict between perception and self-acceptance.

The Jacket is a 6 minute short film commissioned by BBC Arts and ScreenSouth, as part of the BBC New Creatives programme.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, identity and freedom of expression are hugely important to me. I made this film as an advocate and an ally, and am immensely proud of the work the entire team put into making this work possible.

The film has been shot, cut, and magicked together, and is currently being submitted to film festivals.
